BIOSTIL® 2000
BIOSTIL® 2000 is a, a continuous processfor alcohol production in which fermentation, yeast recycling, and simultaneous distillation have been integrated into a highly efficient process.
Superior regarding yield, reduced stillage amounts and high resistance to infection, the efficient,
steady state BIOSTIL®
2000 process is using molasses, sugar juices or grains as feedstock, producing
bioethanol of all types of qualities asked for.
Characteristics of BIOSTIL® 2000
- Cost efficient, low investment
- Easy to operate
- High yield and on-stream time
- Less infections
- High substrate concentration - High stillage concentration
- Compact system, small footprint
- Maximum heat integration
- Less dilution water
- Less liquid effluent
|
Our Bioethanol technology covers:
- Fuel grade
- Potable grade
- Technical grade

A unique feature in the Biostil process is that the stillage is delivered with a high concentration without using external evaporators or decanter centrifuges.
The stillage from molasses based plants can be used as liquid fertilizer to be sprayed on the cane or beet fields, thereby returning all trace elements to the
soil.
Other uses for the stillage are:
- Biogas
- DDGS (from starch based plants)
- Composting
