The Polyurethane Chemicals business area comprises technologies for Nitrobenzene (NB), Aniline, Methylenediphenylamine (MDA), Methylenediphenyldiisocyanate (MDI), Dinitrotoluene (DNT), Toluenediamine (TDA) and Toluenediisocyanate (TDI), all necessary subsystems and Waste Treatment processes. The main product lines are plants for MDI, and TDI.

Nitrobenzene

Chematur can offer a state of the art Adiabatic Nitrobenzene process with an integrated Acid recovery system.

Aniline

Chematur has a proprietary state of the art high efficent liquid phase technology for producing Aniline from Nitrobenzene.

MDI

Car interior made by polyuretane

Chematur has proprietary state of the art technology to produce MDI from Aniline. The technology includes the Amine reaction to MDA, phosgenation (low pressure, no storage of phosgene) to MDI, and the product modification and distillation unit.

DNT

Dinitrotoluene is used as one of the raw materials for making TDA and TDI. Toluene is nitrated in mixed acid in the proprietary pump nitration circuit developed by Chematur. The system is state of the art, safe and easy to operate.

TDI

Chematur has proprietary state of the art technology to produce TDI from DNT. The technology includes the Amine reaction to TDA, and the phosgenation (low pressure, no storage of phosgene) to TDI and includes a TDI Tar recovery system to maximize yields.
